Faces and traces: art that rescues the gaze before time erases memory.
We don't paint to decorate empty walls.
We paint to stop the escape. A digital archive corrupts or is forgotten; a charcoal stroke or a layer of oil on canvas sustains the presence of what you love forever.
Handmade, from person to person, from the workshop in Santa Pola.
Layered oil painting, worked on canvas to capture the gaze, character, and presence of those who are part of your story. A work conceived to live with you and retain its meaning over time.

frequently asked questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is any mobile phone photo suitable?
Yes. The important thing is not that it's a professional camera, but that the eyes and facial expression or features are sharp and without excessively harsh shadows. If you are unsure between several photos, send them to me on WhatsApp and I will help you choose the best one.
Do the paintings come framed?
Acrylic and oil works are delivered on wooden stretchers with painted edges, ready to hang directly in a contemporary style if you don't want a frame. Drawings on paper (charcoal) are delivered protected.
What if I want to commission a conceptual work with people who don't have photos together?
That is precisely the specialty of the 'What should have been' option. You send me the individual photos you have (even if they are old or from different eras) and I will take care of studying the lighting, relative heights, and background so that in the painting it looks like they were together at that exact moment.
How is payment made?
We work with a 50% advance payment upon approval of the sketch and the remaining 50% upon completion of the work. You can pay by Bizum, bank transfer, PayPal, or in cash if delivery is in person at the studio.
Do the works include a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes, absolutely. Each portrait —whether in charcoal drawing or acrylic and oil painting— comes with its Official Certificate of Authenticity, issued and hand-signed by Cris Channofv. This document certifies that the piece is an original and unique studio work, created with professional-grade fine art materials, and includes its archive registration number within Creatorium Lab, the technique used, dimensions, and date of creation. It is the document that guarantees the authorship of the piece and its value as a legacy work for the future.
